May 7th 2013 â€“ DAC Aviation International (DAC), a provider of aircraft charter and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services with expertise in serving aid and relief agencies in remote and conflict-affected areas, announced the delivery of a new Cessna Grand Caravan EX (s/n: 208B5013). This aircraft is the first of six Grand Caravan EXs to be delivered to DAC by Cessna over the next six months. The aircraft was unveiled at a reception on May 7 at Starlink Aviationâ€™s FBO in Montreal.
DACâ€™s new Cessna Grand Caravan EX was inaugurated at the event, displaying a special edition 20th Anniversary livery. With presentations from the organizationâ€™s CEO (Warren Feschuk) and Chairman (Emmanuel Anassis), and demo flights for staff and press by Emmanuel Anassis himself, the event was a colossal success.
On May 8th, the aircraft departed Montreal from DAC corporate headquarters for its European tour, on its way to Nairobi. The aircraft is planned to arrive (weather dependent) in Brussels, Belgium on Monday, May 13th where it will be available for viewing by the press and invitees. From Brussels, the Grand Caravan EX will make additional stops in LFDI. , Libourne, Bordeaux, France, and in Rome, Italy.
On the footsteps of our 20th anniversary, the arrival of the Cessna Grand Caravan EX marks the beginning of a new chapter for DAC Aviation. As the organization continues to grow, the expansion of our fleet is a natural progression to meeting new challenges through advanced technology, modern aircraft and work safety training.
